I got an Akko MOD007B v3 a while ago and this weekend swapped out the PCB for the flex-cut version.
The process went pretty smoothly, though I haven’t done this before - I’ve always just bought pre-build mechanical keyboards and never bothered disassembling them. To be honest I don’t feel much difference between the flex and non-flex board - maybe the plate on top isn’t flexy enough? Anyway, I really like the Piano Pro switches. I’ll probably bring this keyboard to use when I’m in the office.
One of the “costs” of the flex-cut PCB is loss of RGB lighting and Bluetooth, but I never really use those anyway so it wasn’t a big consideration for me.
I was lazy and did not relube the stabilizers or switches…
