The year is in full swing. I’m back at work after the holidays and in a couple of weeks the term starts as well.

Pasta-making

Last week the pasta maker attachments to my stand mixer arrived and I made my first homemade spinach pasta, and a mushroom sauce to go with it. For my first attempt I’d say it turned out really well… so well that I ate it too fast to get a picture of the final result…

A hike to Håga

Today I was meant to go to a sketching meetup, but last night realized I really needed a break from… well, people… today. I hate cancelling events I’d committed to, but could tell I really needed this one. So instead, this morning I headed out for a small hike out to Hågadalen-Nåsten. It was a gorgeous morning, the snow glistening in the sun and lots of people out on skis.
